Posted by Phil on Sunday, 28 February 2010, at 1:06 p.m., It does depend what you are doing. I just did a series of expressions where each one was based on the Accumulated value of the last, but my reason was that I was applying different types of accumulations... (not just hourly) eg: I started with a power reading (LOAD) and so LOAD_D was the daily accumulated power.
However, if you are just doing a lot of basic daily and montly accumulations with different scale factors or calculations, I'd definalty just use expressions based on the original live sensor. Double Hourly accumulations can cause trouble unless you really know what you're doing. So... what are you realy trying to do? This may make it easier for us to answer... Responses
This site is all about building a cool, energy efficient house, that makes maximum use of earth sheltered design, passive solar heating and cooling, geothermal exchange energy management, and right sizing of the house for it's designated use. The home's placement is on a south-facing hillside in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. This site describes the design process, the technologies used and the expected results. We also have a comprehensive Links Page for anyone who is also interested in designing a similar project. |
